Just asking…

Every MMA site went out of their way to cover the DREAM 6 event as if it was a big deal, and yet when the bad TV ratings predictably were released, none of these sites are talking about the fallout. I am curious as to why…

In my opinion most (not all) MMA bloggers that are starting to discuss business seem unqualified to do so.
While I appreciate guys like Michael Rome attempting to wrap his head around some problems or issues related to the MMA business world, he and others often come off sounding uneducated in business attempting to forecast buyrates, analyze financial statements, pricing stocks, television ratings, and numerous other things. If these guys were that qualified they’d be running a real MMA business instead of blogging about it.
The last thing I want to read about is someone who is not qualified or has no business (pun intended) offering their opinions on the business world to the masses. Let them blog about what they know and are good at; not what they think they know. I’ll go to MMA Payout for my MMA business news.
@five ounces — Yes!
See, a dude like Rome is qualified to talk legal matters way better than bidness. The efforts are appreciated, but come off as a bit crass.
“I’ll go to MMA Payout for my MMA business news.”
Rome knows more about business than those fools at MMAPayout.
Given how long he’s followed the sport, he’s learned it fast!
The guys at MMAPayout put forth some shite analysis, especially lately. Nobody is immune to bad analysis.
