Shinsuke Nakamura wants to fight with Fedor&Mirko

this is written about Tanahashi&Nakamura’event.
And my title is Nakamura’answer against fan’question
“who do you want to fight with?”
Tanahashi’answer”Akiyama,Rikioh,Marufuji again”
Nakamura”Both of Fedor&Mirko”
Nakamura said”This year, I will be back ï¼ï¼ï¼¡’ring again”
PRIDE has a few Japanese heavy weight fighters.
So…Nakamura will be in PRIDE heavy weight GP ring?

They are doing the Heavyweight Grand Prix at some point. Never seen Nakamura in MMA, it’ll be interesting. Though Mirko’s made a career out of kick pro wrestlers in the face.
Well, I guess PRIDE needs the traditional Pro Wrestler(s) in the HW GP. So, sure why not? I just hope he gets given Cro Cop or Nogueira in the opening round.
There wont be a HW GP, sakakibara said today that the gp will be open-weight, best news ever!
Nakumera took care of Ignashov in the 2nd fight easily and no doubt has skills however his success in MMA would depend on how much time he gets to train and prepare for any possible fight. I would like to see him fight someone not as good as Fedor or Mirko and then if he comes through that he could possibly go on from their. However if he ends up fighting more MMA no doubt he will spend less time in NJPW rings.
This is bad news for New Japan on all fronts.
As everyone has commented on, Nakamura facing Fedor = instant death. While he may have a better chance against CroCop, the likely result will still be Nakamura head getting knocked into the third row.
Even more distressing for New Japan must be the comments of Tanahashi. The three opponents that he named are all members of the Pro Wrestling NOAH roster…not exactly a ringing endorsement of New Japan’s roster from Tanahashi.
I think “Nakamura-san” can do nothing in MMA.
He has quick tackle,but that was not quick as PRIDE’wrestling fighter.

So,Fedor&Mirko can beat him easily by punch.
I think Sugiura-san”NOAH’pro-wrestler” is stronger than Nakamura.
I want to see Silva-san,Arona-san,Jackson-san,Shogun-san who can be over 100kg in open weight GP.I don’t want to see light and welter fighters in that ring.
And…I hope Josh-san’back!!
nakamura had VERY limited training and did well. he went from having troubles with iggy in dec. 03 to beating him w/o breaking a sweat in 5/04. with more training he’d do better and with ALOT of training has potential to be one of the best bigger japanese fighters. he can easy be better than nagoya ogawa. im gonna say this doesnt happen though, shouldnt take everything at face value in japanese interviews. theres more chance of tanahashi fighting one of his noah rivals.
