PRIDE 2006 GP Tournament

This year, it’s a 16-man tournament. Open-weight. Show schedule: 5/5 Osaka Dome (round one), July at Saitama Super Arena (round two), and September at Saitama Super Arena (semi-finals and finals). Dan Henderson & Takanori Gomi may be involved as participants.

    Just please do not make Sakuraba v Fedor. Thats all I ask.

    I thought Fedor said he was most likely going to not participate and just face the winner for the HW title? After all, he does need the hand surgery…

    -Fedor should take most of the year off and instead fight the winner of the tournament.

    -DSE has tried to kill Sakuraba these past few years, and I’d wouldn’t be surprised if he joins the tournament and is paired up with Big Nog or Hunt.

    -Please don’t let them put Coleman or Donkey Kong in the mix. Waist of good space.
