He will fight Antz Nansen in an MMA fight under DREAM rules at the promotion’s 11/8 Tokyo, Ryogoku Kokugikan event. Clearly the promotion needs an attraction for TV ratings and here you go.

  1. David M says:

What the hell is an Antz Nansen?

  2. Chromium says:

An Antz Nansen is a 1-1 scrub. Honestly I don’t have a problem with this. Ishii really is still pretty green, so taking a can or two to pad his record a isn’t a big deal to me as long as it’s just in-between better opponents.

    • edub says:

And Antz did beat up his olympic buddy Izumi.

    • David M says:

Respect to you two for taking the time to look this dude up. I wasn’t knocking the idea of Ishii fighting a bum (I think mma prospects should be built up more slowly than they often are, see Lesnar, Brock), I just really had no idea who he was.

      • edub says:

Ah. I’ll always remember antz because when he upset Izumi Schiavello about had a heart attack from saying “I told you so” to Guy Mezger, which reminds me… I hate the voice.
