Video: Ricardo Arona talks about returning to MMA competition
By Zach Arnold | June 21, 2009

Ricardo Arona has not fought since 2007, but every time he appears there is a lot of talk about when he will return to the ring. Olivar Leite of In The Guard met “The Brazilian Tiger” Arona at the Nogueira Bros. Training Center. Arona comments on when he expects to return back to active competition.
One side note – it’s in Portuguese.

That interviewer is tripping me out.
I wonder if the comp has passed Arona by?
A few of his peers have hit hard times, and 205 looks tougher than than ever.
I’m sure he would still be very good, and a few of his peers are also doing fine. But he was always a smidge of an underachiever even back then. With things getting even tougher I wonder how he’ll fit in.
I want to see it though.
Theres no rule that says he couldn’t have gotten better himself since he’s been gone.
i wonder if he’ll drop to 185 like belfort. i’d like to see him matched up with the kendell groves or rich franklins of the world.
