  1. b.w. says:

i think he will get probation as a 1rst time offender at worst. along with fines and community service. thats not counting all the civil suits that will probably be setteled out of court. it sounds like to me that his fighting career will be ok.

  2. Rollo the Cat says:

    Bw,

What makes you say that? Do you know the record of the judges in OC?

  3. cyph says:

That’s how the justice system works. There are far more cases than the system can process, so the prosecutors always want to settle things first. First time offenders and low level felonies such as evading police are prime for a settlement.

He’ll probably end up with a misdemeanor when all is said and done.

  4. Rollo the Cat says:

That is not always how it works. It depends on the county and the judges, that is why I am asking specifically about OC. People go to jail on these things all the time.

  5. cyph says:

Yes, people with public defenders. The public defender usually settle a nice cozy felony for the poor folks.

  6. Rollo the Cat says:

I know PDs who are better than any high priced attorney.

  7. b.w. says:

ROLLO. no i dont know how it works in the o.c., i know that rampage has 2 things in working his favor, he didnt get charged with manslaughter and he wasn’t drinking or using drugs at the time of the accident. plus he has money for a good attorney, so i can see a plea bargain with no-jail time, probation heavy fines and community service. now on the civil side i can bet that he will be out bukoo bucks, but as long as he is able to fight and make more money, i think he and his career will be ok for now. this is all just speculation on my part though.

  8. Rollo the Cat says:

We need to get a criminal defence attorney from OC on the next FO podcast to tell us how he sees things.

  9. Zack says:

Dana already said he’s not guilty, so we can all move on now.
