Here’s the question: Kimbo Slice or Brock Lesnar? Which one is going to be the better mixed martial artist?
I love how everyone is so quick to jump on or off either fighter’s bandwagon. Why is it that some MMA fans want to bring these guys down? They are both great for the sport. They absolutely come from different backgrounds with varying credentials, but most certainly they both do one of the most important things any fighter out there today needs to be able to do. They put peoples butts in seats! People want to see them fight.

Another reason why BJM should just go away. Anyone who can’t see the difference between these two, should not be looked on as a spokesman for the sport.
BJM is starting to become an ANZ person.
Speaking as a fan, Kimbo Slice lost all appeal in his last stoppage victory in a fight that should clearly not have been stopped when it was. He should have lost that fight by stoppage in the second round.
Brock Lesnar, on the other hand, has just begun to show he’s someone to pay attention to, fight style notwithstanding. Beating the Texas Crazy Horse in his third pro fight, and beating him badly is a real accomplishment.
Just saying.
I understand BJM’s POV…however, in response to the actual question at hand. I think it’s pretty retarded for fans NOT to debate who will become the better Mixed Martial Artist. In terms of fans wanting to bring them down…I don’t think that’s the case…I think it’s more of fans(hardcore) wanting them to legitimately earn their keep…which Brock Lesnar has been allowed to do so…more than Kimbo in regards to competition faced thus far.
i though it was funny how BJM managed not to give an actual answer to the question. someone just asked his opinion and he knows the answer, he just tried to diffuse the issue by bringing up fans that are “bandwagoners”. he didnt dare want to say anything positive about the ufc because now, he actully thinks he is bigger than the sport. he was never anything but a ref, a great ref, but still just a ref. you dont see refs from other sports doing and saying the things he does. big john got a big head imo.

So you want fights to be stopped on positional dominance and not damage?
