Seems like a decent fight event, besides most of the fights ending super early. I predicted Manhoef to beat Sakuraba, but that badly? Man, maybe it’s time for Sakuraba to hang them up. Maybe he should get back into pro wrestling. Shame to hear about what happened to Kin in his fight.

  2. Zack says:

    Good card.

    – The finish in the Aoki fight was awesome

    – The Tokoro fight was great back & forth action

    – Yoon Dong Sik almost landed another Dong bar.

    – Staying up all night to see Sak get owned @ 5am was a bummer though

Alistair Overeem VS a guy who’s 1-1? That’s just wrong in so many ways…

    Very Pride-ish.

  4. ttt says:

maybe they’ll have miller and saku fight next time around

  5. IceMuncher says:

Maybe they’ll let Saku retire before he gets any more brain trauma.

I love the guy, but in the past few years he’s mostly famous for getting beat into a living death.

  6. klown says:

For all the recent criticism of American matchmaking, judging and refereeing, there’s no comparison with Japan.

I did not need to witness that Sakuraba beatdown. The match up was poor and the stoppage very late. This is criminal.

The Overeem event was not a fight, it was a live execution.

Mousasi vs Dong-Sik was also wretched. The second round consisted of nothing but 100% pure strikes to the back of the head, which is quite an accomplishment
