I am also excited that Elite XC have agreed to work with CFC to give our other fighters international opponents and possible opportunities to fight overseas”.

great get for EliteXC, provided his visa problems are a thing of the past.

  2. sprewellrimz says:

Australia has probably naturalized Lombard as a citizen, which will make it possible for Lombard to get a passport into the states.

  3. Blue says:

Visa problems = dropped from the UFC?

  4. Iain Liddle says:

Yeah that’s why Chonan stepped up to face Parisyan, there was immigration issues.

  5. Matt says:

The guy is Cuban, isn’t he? Either way, he’s an exciting fighter and he could do well in EliteXC.

  6. sprewellrimz says:

well, I mean, having a guy under contract that can’t fight for you is a pretty good reason to void the deal.

speaking of, I wonder what countries Aleksander Emelianenko can actually gain entry to…Japan (though I assume that has more than a little to do with yakuza ties) and Canada are two…certainly not America, though.

  7. Chuck says:

Uh oh! Is Pro Elite gonna buy out another MMA fed?
