Another MMA scare article in the media
By Zach Arnold | December 15, 2007

Herald Sun columnist Shannon Deary is not happy about MMA coming to Melbourne, Australia:
Overseas, fighters have had arms and legs smashed, ankles snapped and some have been killed.
Instead of protective gloves, combatants wear small mitts to allow them to grab opponents in headlocks and submission holds in front of baying crowds.

Wow, that’s some crazy exageration.
When he writes “some have been killed”, is he aware that “some” is not a singular pronoun? Or is he including that moron that fought in the Ukraine in the death toll?
LOL!
As moronic as the author of the piece obviously is, I do have to give him props for starting my morning out with a good laugh. Don’t know why, but something about that “(fighting) in front of baying crowds” statement nearly made me piss myself.
What blood thirsty savages we all are!
We’ve posted an article specifically about Deary’s article and on its predecessor, Barrett’s article (two weeks earlier).
