  1. Psygone says:

I don’t think you can copyright the noun Bulldog so if the name is presented British ‘Bulldogs’ (like Los Angeles ‘Anacondas’) then I think its ok

  2. JOSH says:

Im pretty sure the WWE does have some sort of trademark on the British Bulldogs because they were a tag team in the 80s…but then again that was in the 80s who knows how long that trademark lasts.

  3. Preach says:

Hmmm, i wonder if the WWE has a trademark on “British Bulldogs” and the IFL will have to change the name of Ian’s team…

  4. JThue says:

Ooooh. Menjivar signed for IFL ages ago, was not supposed to be anywhere else and… APPEARS AT AN IFL EVENT?!?!?!? OH MY GOD THAT’S NEWS!

    😛

Strikeforce have announced Cung Le vs. Jason von Flue

  5. MMA T-Shirts says:

I’m happy there’s a UK IFL team… doubt they’ll have an event here though so not quite sure it matters that much.

  6. Clint says:

The ‘s’ on the end will probably save them. If anything the WWE probably has a trademark on the “British Bulldog” but not the plural. Shamrock and Freeman are definatly nice additions as coaches.

  7. PizzaChef says:

Ken Shamrock as a coach? Isin’t that…..More of a disaster in the making?

  8. Mr. Roadblock says:

On the British Bulldogs question. The US Patent and Trademark Organization lists the WWE’s mark on “British Bulldog” as dead.

Anytime you have a trademark question go to http://www.uspto.gov … click on trademarks … click on search … basic … then put in what you’re looking for.

  9. grafdog says:

Steak and chicken lovers dream team is what you got in the making right there…

six fighters one coach two things to eat…

    Steak

    Chicken
