The promotion announced Kazuo Misaki vs. Paulo Filho and Denis Kang vs. Akihiro Gono for their Welterweight tournament show on November 5th at Yokohama Arena.

Gutsy move on PRIDE’s part…I thought for sure they would have the two japanese fighters fight against each other and that way for sure there would be ONE japanese fighter represented in the finals. Im japanese and all BUT Im still pulling for a Filho/Kang final.
This is the best match up for both Misaki and Gono.
Filho will most likely not be able to catch Misaki and end up eating shots like Patino did.
Gono has a chance, but i pick Kang by jd.
Misaki has a great chance of winning it all, if Kang goes the distance in the first i think he’ll gas in the finals.
