The HERO’s promotion announced that Kazushi Sakuraba has been cleared to fight on the promotion’s 10/9 Yokohama Arena show. This was the show that was rumored to feature the debut of Brock Lesnar, but no mention of Lesnar fighting so far. Akebono & Kazuyuki Miyata were announced as participants for the 10/9 show.
The two Middleweight tournament fights announced are Kaoru Uno vs. Ivan Menjivar and J.Z. Calvan vs. Rani Yahya.

I don’t give a crap how uncool it is to say it – I’m pretty excited about Lesnar’s debut… and I really dont like Wrasslin by the way, I just think it will be really interesting to see how he does 🙂
Soooooo….Sakuraba isin’t brain damaged to a Terri Schiavo extent?
And BORCK LASANR F5!!!!1111lol
Good lord they are trying to kill Sakuraba.
I’ve got the sinking feeling that both Saku and Angle won’t live to see 2007…
I had kind of hoped that Hero’s wouldn’t run Sakuraba into the ground the way Pride used him. Not that Saku isn’t probably more than willing to fight but hopefully, after this tourney is over, he’ll get plenty of rest to recuperate between bouts.
In a perfect world, I’d like to see Saku fight twice a year in legends-style fights until he retires.

Damn dude, don’t jinx these dudes for fucks sake. I think Sakuraba has atleast two more years left in him, as long as he doesn’t fight more than, say, twice a year.
