Card line-up:

  1. Light Heavyweight Tournament: Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Kestutis Smirnovas (RINGS Lithuania)
  2. Light Heavyweight Tournament: Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Kin Tai Ei (Seido Kaikan)
  3. Light Heavyweight Tournament: Shungo Oyama vs. Rodrigo Gracie
  4. Light Heavyweight Tournament: Carlos Newton vs. Melvin Manhoef

Kin Tai Ei fought in K-1 in the early 90s against opponents such as Orlando Wiet.

    So much for Tokoro being the eighth man.

    Tokoro, I think, is set for the Middleweight tournament. The Light Heavyweight tournament is 185 pounds, if I’m not mistaken.

    Yea they havent announced the MW GP brackets yet…hopefullY tokoro can get another cahnce to prove himself…but the rumors of Kid Yamamoto leaving MMA to go back to amateur wresling are frightning.
