HERO’s 3/15 Nippon Budokan results

An interesting show today. Translated results:
- Kaoru Uno defeated Rich Clementi by a 3-0 judges’ decision (20-18 three times). Clementi failed to make weight, but was still allowed to fight.
- Genki Sudo defeated Ole Laursen by a 3-0 judges’ decision in the overtime round. The fight went 3 rounds and was ruled a draw, so OT was needed.
- Yoshihiro Akiyama defeated Kendo Ka Shin (w/ Kazuyuki Fujita in his corner) by submission in the 2nd round in 1 minute, 42 seconds. Ka Shin didn’t wear the mask in the fight itself.
- 75 kg: Antonio McKee defeated Kiuma Kunioku by a 3-0 judges’ decision after 2R (20-19 twice, 20-18).
- Melvin Manhoef (Showtime/Holland) defeated Shungo Oyama in R1 in 2 minutes, 51 seconds by TKO from doctor stoppage.
- Jerome Le Banner defeated Jimmy Ambriz in R1 in 2 minutes, 4 seconds by KO with a right hook.
- Kazuyuki Miyata defeated Erikas Petraitis in R1 in 3 minutes, 59 seconds with a cross-arm scissors hold.
- Heath Herring defeated Gary “Big Daddy” Goodridge in R2 in 1 minute, 55 seconds by KO.
- Kim Min-Soo defeated Yoshihisa Yamamoto in R2 in 1 minute, 32 seconds with a choke sleeper.
- 72 kg: Hideo Tokoro defeated Yoshinori Ikeda in R1 in 49 seconds with a triangle lock/choke.

Herring needed that win. Shame Ka Shin never wore the mask? He didnt get much time to prepare for the fight did he?
