Techno Goliath headed to the military

Digital Chosun has an article about Choi Hong-Man’s dilemma in regards to South Korea’s laws regarding mandatory military service. The article states that Hong-Man’s plan is to try to postpone the mandatory service date to 2008 (meaning he would have two years left to fight in K-1, then go into the military).

Because of Hong-Man’s size and physical conditioning, he will likely be placed in a non-combative role. The article states that Hong-Man’s next scheduled fight is for the K-1 Las Vegas show on 4/29 against either an American or Japanese opponent.
