Fight Opinion Radio #84: Zuffa’s new marketing rights agreement

This week, it’s the return of Judge Jeff Thaler and our honorable guest on the show is Rob Maysey of MMAFA.tv fame. Rob recently posted an article about Zuffa LLC’s new marketing rights agreement that fighters are supposedly being offered and asked to sign. We’ll talk about all of the positives and negatives of the agreement, along with discussion of where the future of MMA is going in terms of fighter representation and marketing rights.

    The “Big Announcment” of what Lorenzo’s new role with the UFC is:

    1. Dana White will continue to run the Domestic Market.

    2. Lorenzo Fertitta will run the International Market. Some of the countries that the UFC is trying to get into, these business people won’t deal with people like Dana White (Ex: dropping F-Bombs alot, flipping out easily, and etc…)
