ESPN’s dreamy WEC news headline
By Zach Arnold | August 9, 2009

They’re running on their channel crawler that Miguel Torres defeated Brian Bowles to keep the WEC Bantamweight title. They even made Bowles’ record 7-1.

Sounds like Frank Mir may have had a hand in it…
ESPN doesn’t even really care that much about the UFC, do you think they care if they get the WEC results correct? Someone probably just assumed it was a squash match and put it on the scroll without double checking. Either that or they didn’t care enough to tell who was who.
Somebody probably told them the ‘guy with the bad hair’ one and they just assumed they meant Torres’ mullet and not Bowles’ legoman hair.
The correct term for Bowles hair would be a mop top, as made popular by the Beatles.
Have you seen a Legoman’s hair?
