Affliction’s PR description of Josh Barnett
By Zach Arnold | June 16, 2009
Sorry, Josh, but I couldn’t stop laughing at this note I got in my e-mail inbox:
With his chiseled jaw and Mr. Incredible looks, Josh “The Babyfaced Assassin” Barnett could be the leading man in a Hollywood film or a character straight out of the anime that he loves so much. He has a superhero frame—at 6’3”, 250 pounds, one can almost picture the “Babyfaced Assassin” wrapped in a cape, standing atop a tall building, scanning the city below for any evil doers. He is a well-spoken, charismatic figure whose persona is as compelling as his impressive fight record.

Wow. Just wow.
AWESOME.
I wonder how awesome I would be in the eyes of the world if I had a PR person like that.
I once saw Josh Barnett piledrive Doctor Doom through the center of the Earth.
True story.
Well, 6-3, 250, he could loose some weight in his gut. He is still my #1 fighter, but Damn, his PR guy really was pushing it here!
Wouldn’t be surprised if he wrote this for them. That is the person he wants to be, so let him do it. Provides great entertainment and skill for the tons of MMA fans.
Honestly – if he was promoted properly, I don’t see how Barnett couldn’t be one of the most popular fighters in North America.
We need to find out the name of the guy who wrote that. He deserves the first Zachie award, given out by this site for excellence in the field of….. uh… excellence.
Creepy.
Sounds more like a letter to the editor of man crush weekly.
“He was so masculine and well spoken as he laid me down and removed his cape….”
i got banned from the mmalinker forums for posting josh barnett erotic fanfiction that i wrote when i was bored at work one day.
Should have went to fightlinker, you would have been a celebrity there.
Dommy: awesome.
