Lisa Olson profile article on Bob Reilly
By Zach Arnold | June 1, 2009

The man who wants to stop MMA from being legalized in New York state makes his case:
He says in Albany’s city schools and on its streets, “the fights among young people, half the time it’s girls, which I find a little more disturbing. That might sound sexist, excuse me. But it’s no different than ultimate fighting, when I see one woman grab another woman by the head and knee her in the stomach.”

Boo hoo!
ew York is a very old timey boxing town.
You wont get live MMA until way down the line because New Yorkers have a knack for refusing to admit that anybody else has offered anything culturally.
New York has an unwieldy ego IMO.
I think New York is awesome, but thats the impression that I’ve gotten over the years.
Bob Reilly really gets my blood boiling
New York is a weird dicotomy of being an extremely forward thinking state and yet they have some very old school, completely obscelete values. And this includes NYC. I guess that might be the norm for such a melting pott.
I think that dichotomy is pretty much the norm for the entire country. There’s no such thing as a truly liberal or conservative state; at the most it’s a 55/45 lean one way or the other.
