Quote of the Day – Ken Shamrock’s trainer
By Zach Arnold | October 1, 2008

Reno Gazette-Journal newspaper:
“When you’re a fighter, you’re a fighter and sometimes you don’t make all the good decisions, but you make them because of the desire to fight. You want to fight. You’re just not ready,” he said. “I’ve come to a point now where I said if I’m not healthy, I’m not going to fight.”
His trainer, Quentin Blue Horse, who is from Yerington, said Shamrock is ready for the 34-year-old Slice (3-0).
“He’s gotten in great shape in a short amount of time,” Blue Horse said. “If he’s standing up (against Slice) he’ll dominate.”
Plus, more Shamrock comments in an interview with Gary Herman.

“If he’s standing up (against Slice) he’ll dominate.”
At least until he gets punched in the face, anyway.
I’m thinking they’ll stand for a sec until Ken goes to the ground looking for a sloppy leg-lock. While fumbling Kimbo hammer-fists him into retirement.
In this interview, Kimbo Slice is asked about Online criticism he received as a result of his last performance vs. James Thompson.
Slice compares himself to Jesus, since they were both criticized. Uh-huh.

I don’t think Jesus ever had a right hand like Kimbo, but from what I’ve read he had an awesome sprawl.
Actually, I think that much like Jesus, even putting Ken Shamrock in a cave blocked up by a giant boulder, he’s still manage to come back for another go….
Ken will never retire, he’s too stupid. Or, maybe he has a nasty gambling habit to support.
