  1. Ultimo Santa says:

    Not surprising.

With the massively overcrowded jail system of California, they’ll take any opportunity they can to NOT put someone in the clink (unless it’s a rape/murder case, in which case they’re looking at a solid 4-7 years of hard time).

So it’s fortunate for Quentin and the UFC, but not-so-fortunate for the motorists of the greater Los Angeles area.

  2. Brandt says:

Also keep in mind that just because they didn’t have enough evidence for the trial, it doesn’t mean that the crash didn’t partially or fully cause the miscarriage. Hopefully Griggs doesn’t sue, but she may be waiting to find out if Jackson gets off with a slap on the wrist before attacking him with a civil suit (think OJ Simpson) which would cause some headaches.

  3. Jeremy (not that Jeremy) says:

A civil suit isn’t going to carry any jail time though. As long as Rampage isn’t in jail, UFC probably considers it a win.

  4. 45 Huddle says:

It’s amazing what people can do and not get thrown in jail.

Hey Zack, what about a post to discuss all these Randy Couture rumors floating around. Not sure if there is any teeth to it, but the rumor is Couture is back in November in Portland. That would be HUGE!!
