Tito Ortiz is once again negotiating with the UFC. What a shock. The writing is on the wall for Tito.

    1) Randy Couture is out of Zuffa and nearly forgotten by general fans.

    2) EliteXC is losing money. Affliction’s star studded 1st PPV didn’t get even half the number of PPV Buys they wanted.

Kampmann vs. Marquardt interests me a lot. Actually all 5 main bout cards interest me. It is the Liddell/Evans fight that I might be the least interested in of those 5.

For Silva/Cote, I will be the first to admit it is not a stellar main event. But I’m not the type of fan who expects a champion to defend his title against the absolutely #1 challenger each time out. Cote has won 4 in a row and is at best semi-worthy. I just don’t like to see a guy like Fedor not have a tough fight for 3 years. That is the other extreme. Plus, the undercard is nice enough.

  2. Terry Querns says:

What a giant surprise, it’s Kevin Iole defending Dana White on Yahoo Sports. Who would’ve ever thought they’d see that?

  3. David says:

Terry… that is old news! LOL

I am totally rooting for ProElite and from Chuck Champion’s quotes from one of the articles listed on this website, sounds like they may be able to pull it off!

  4. You’d defend the man who slips $100 bills in your pocket too!

  5. MMA Ratings says:

Zac, was that you on the JBS (8/19)?
