Report: Kazuyoshi Ishii released from prison
By Zach Arnold | August 7, 2008

(If you read Japanese, pay attention to the Hiroshi Nielsen blog for further updates.)
There is a report in the OH! CYBER PAPARAZZI publication today that K-1’s Godfather, Kazuyoshi Ishii, has been released from a Shizuoka prison at 5:30 AM JST. The report claims that Ishii was considered a ‘model citizen’ in prison and that he was released early on good behavior. Ishii had went to jail on June 11, 2007 after exhausting the appeals process in his criminal court case in regards to charges of corporate tax evasion and destruction of evidence relating to the case.

Maybe he can convince TBS to give DREAM an actual chance in scoring big ratings now.
Ishii is a bad man, no getting around that really. That being said, I’m excited about his release and its potential implications for Japanese MMA.
What could this guy possibly do to help dream?
especially where its at now?
I will be shocked if dream is still alive in Janurary
