Quotes of the Day – Dave Meltzer on the DREAM 4 show
By Zach Arnold | June 17, 2008

Audio here (22 minute time mark):
“I thought that it was long and not necessarily exciting, uh, a couple of fights were okay, but there was nothing um nothing worth going out of way to see, that’s for sure.”
After praising Jacare vs. Miller…
“Nothing, uh, nothing really, Nothing really stood out. Very missable show.”

meltzer only reports ufc stuff so im suprised he even knows who jacare is
Did Dave sleep through the Tokoro fight?
Let’s be realistic. Dave’s ability to analyze fights and fighters is pretty much nonexistent. Most casual fans who are like “YO CHUCK WILL MESS THAT DUDE UP” are about on his level of skill when it comes to picking outcomes and whatnot. He probably never watches b and c level shows outside of Strikeforce. What he does well is gather news.
Hah. What a nub.
Its also worth noting that any man who thought Rizzo beat Coleman and that Rutten beat Randleman probably isn’t the best judge of what a “missable show” might be.
Thanks for deleting my previous comment. And you get onto Ishii-San for being corrupt.
Dave is great. He’s so unintentionally funny sometimes. He’s like Christopher Walken.
The rest of that audio show was more interesting with Meltzer reporting the July UFC spoiler show was on,spelling out why that’s a stupid idea, and bigging up the Nick Diaz pull apart from the weekend.
