Thursday media round-up
By Zach Arnold | December 6, 2007

ESPN’s Page 2 has a profile article on Roger Huerta. He’s pretty popular in the media.
Here is part two of Todd Martin’s interview with Dana White on CBS Sports. Money quote about why season four of The Ultimate Fighter ended up being so boring:
“I think the concept was awesome,” White says. “We executed it poorly.”
He attributes this to two factors. First, “I think the problem was we didn’t have coaches. We let these guys come in and train when they wanted to.”
He adds: “The kids got an opportunity and they went for it. These veterans came in and tried to squeak out wins.”
Sam Caplan has an interview with Bas Rutten, talking about his new MMA documentary called Potent.

I don’t care much for Sam Caplan as a MMA journalist but i will admit that i enjoyed his interview with bas
Well, I’m officially curious about what they’re going to do to make season 7 so radically different.
I could careless about Sam Caplan or Luke Thomas for beefing online. And Zach, for reporting on it, that lowers my opinion of you.
^^ This time the chairs that get thrown in the pool are going to be neon green!!!! And they’re upgrading the tequila in the house from Cuervo to Casadorez!!!
David’s beef with Zach just makes me lose respect for David.
Fightlinker’s beef with David makes me wonder what ridiculous challenge he’ll throw out that David will pretend to accept but actually not accept until he is shamed into accepting.
I just lost all the respect that I had for beef. My secret word was triangle. Neat.
All dumb comments from my twisted Blackberry-typing-fingers aside, online beef between us bloggers should be settled via AIM or email. Or through wacky e-bets involving eyebrows and nudity.
That’s why you’ll never be the champ, Brandt.
Asa: 🙁
I’m liking these secret words. I think I am going to implement my secret word into every comment I make.
