IFL news of the weird

By Zach Arnold | October 3, 2007

Print Friendly and PDF

By Zach Arnold

One of the early corporate sponsors for the IFL was Dale & Thomas Popcorn, one of the fastest-growing popcorn companies in the market today. Certainly, nothing could go wrong with this relationship, right?

Think again.

The Thomas in Dale & Thomas Popcorn is Isiah Thomas, who (as an ‘agent’ of Madison Square Garden in the words of ESPN legal analyst Roger Cossack) lost an $11.6 million USD sexual harassment civil lawsuit filed by Anucha Browne Sanders.

Sexual harassment never tasted so sour. Will the IFL continue to do business with Dale & Thomas Popcorn?

One Response to “IFL news of the weird”

  1. Ivan Trembow says:

Yes, they should disassociate themselves from Dale & Thomas Popcorn. And Isiah Thomas’ whole explanation for the series of incidents with Anucha Browne Sanders was just ridiculous, as was his explanation for when it is and is not acceptable to call a woman a “bitch” in a corporate environment.
