  1. David says:

I thought Marcelo Garcia signed to fight late September, must be next month but I was hoping they would squeeze him on the max card!!! Thanks for the reporting.

  2. Dru Down says:

    David,

K-1 rarely cross-promotes MAX with HEROS or their upper-division kickboxing events. Good thing, in my opinion, as MAX is consistently the most legit of their three promotions and to this day, free of freakshow matchups.

  3. Smoogy says:

Nightmare of Battle is reporting that HERO’S will have a Korean event on the same day as this Shootboxing benefit show.

    “OLYMPIA HERO’S KOREA 2007
    Date: 28/10-2007
Place: Jangchung Gymnasium In Seoul, South Korea

    Possible Participants:
    Denis Kang
    Yoshihiro Akiyama”

  4. 45 Huddle says:

Zuffa lost Sakurai because they aren’t running events in Japan.

  5. 45 Huddle: more info on that? Any source? Veeeeeery interesting

  6. Jordan Breen says:

    Direkci is getting screwed.
