  1. The MMA Critic says:

A decent card. Nothing great, nothing bad.

With Monson fighting on this card, will it have any effect on him competing against Fedor? That is the question….

  2. mose says:

Talk that the Marc 3 date will be postponed due to a no-compete clause in Fedor’s Pride contract….

posting translated(Babelfish) from Fedor’s website forum:

‘Fedor will come out in Pieter, but Pride attempts to prevent. Is what that zamorochki in the contract on srokam(posle of the end of the action of contract two and one-half of month Fedor it does not have a right to come out).

and translated by someone at sherdog:

Fedor will fight Monson in St. Peterburg, Russia, but Pride is trying to stop it. There is a detail in contract that after the end of a current contract (just ended) a fighter (Fedor) can NOT fight elsewhere for 2.5 months. Hence, the fight will likely be moved but will still take place.

  3. Mr. Roadblock says:

This is the type of card I’d absolutely watch if it were on cable and I’d buy it on DVD if I heard it was good. Just not enough to get me to shell out more than $15 or $20 on PPV. A lot of Brazilian dudes on the card. I hope they have good local promotion and can make their money back on the live gate. This could be two very interesting GFC shows in a row. Might really be a promotion to keep an eye on.

  4. grafdog says:

Thats a very respectable card except for Wes “from the projects” Sims. Hopefully they’ll get this one on satellite ppv not just cable.

  5. Zack says:

I really enjoyed the last Gracie PPV…although I’m a scumbag and just downloaded it 🙂
