Report: Bonnar tests positive for steroids

By Zach Arnold | September 6, 2006

Print Friendly and PDF

Source: MMA Weekly.

Boldenone is an anabolic steroid that is intended for use only by veterinarians, specifically to help rehabilitate injured horses. It has several brand names for veterinary use, including Equigan, Equipoise, Ultragan, and Ganabol. It is on the banned substances list of all the major athletic commissions and sports leagues.

If you recognize the name boldenone, it’s because American baseball players have been caught or accused of taking it – including Matt Lawton.

  1. Ivan Trembow says:

You may also recognize Boldenone as one of the three kinds of steroids that were found in Josh Barnett’s system after his UFC Heavyweight Title fight in 2002.
