Someone should tell Ice that there’s no problem for “him” kicking ass in “Def Jam – Fight for New York”, but in the real world a 48 year old Actor/Rapper would get his ass handed to him.
As for Ayre: I don’t know, but that all looks quite shady to me. Shady and unprofessional that is. I mean, if you were filming in an asian communist country: wouldn’t you be using an interpreter, who could translate all the signs, so something like that won’t happen? And that stuff with the police raiding the Bodog compound because of (suspected) prostitution and illegal pokergames (isn’t his whole company sort of illegal in the states?) doesn’t make things any better.
It seems the current MMA-Boom not only attracts money marks, but also those with a very questionable resumé…
Wouldn’t an MMA fighter be retiring at 48? Ice-T having martial arts skills is nice and all but getting into a ring/octagon thinking he can hold up against today’s MMA fighter could be a potential reality check.
Did any of you know that Ice-T was a hidden character in the second UFC game?
I did not know that, but now I wish I still had my Pride Game so I could do Ice T vs. Nobuhiko Takada
oops I meant say it would be potentially painful reality check.
This is the first I’ve heard of him doing martial arts before.
I think he should do pro-wrestling instead of MMA!
fuggin loser will get rocked
I still think Wesley Snipes has a better chance at MMA than Ice-T. I think Bruce Lee in his current state (dead) is better at MMA than Ice-T. If there were ever a rapper MMA tournament, then Ice-T may be king. But in actual MMA competition? Hell no, he’ll get destroyed.
PRIDE should just sign Ice-T to fight against Tyson in one of the exhibition fights Tyson is setting up for.
