By Zach Arnold | August 15, 2006

There is a lot of press coverage this week in the media for this Thursday’s season-opening show for The Ultimate Fighter: Season 4. Neil Davidson in the Canadian Press (article here at Canada.com) has an article, along with The Dartmouth Online, the UK’s News & Star, The Boston Herald, and Multichannel News.

Are you excited for the new season? What are your expectations (ratings, performances, etc.)?

Update: Boston Herald writer Mark Perigard gives the season premiere a grade of B+.

Definitely waiting for the premiere on Thursday. It will be a much welcome since all we pretty much had between season 3 and season 4 was MTV’s awful attempt to rake in ratings with our crowd with Final Fu.

  2. MonkeyMatt says:

I am totally pumped to watch it.

Shame Keith Hackney is not on the card though! 😉

Props to White for keeping the series fresh so regularly. He obviously cares about making it as entertaining as possible.

We should count ourselves lucky that he didn’t sit on his ass after coming up with the winning formula.

  3. Todd says:

The UFC is both starting to push for and get press for UF. One of the interesting things I noticed is that the UFC has started to buy commercial time on ESPN; they had a commercial for the show on “the contender” last night. I don’t recall ever seeing commercials for the show on station other than spike.
