DSE links with Pankration team

Nobuhiko Takada participated in a press briefing at Yamanashi university in Kofu on the 12th to announce the first “Pankration” team in the world. PRIDE hopes that by linking up with this team, they will be able to have some representation in future Olympic games.

I’ve been saying for awhile that the Olympics needs to reinstate Pankration. The modern games pale in comparison to the Ancient ones. For starters there is no nudity or pagan ritual outside the opening ceremonies.
Also there is a dearth of cool equstrian events. But the lack of Pankration is what officially makes these modern games of ours inferior.
