Andy Ologun (brother of Bobby Ologun) versus DDT pro-wrestler Kota Ibushi. Adam Summers & I will talk more about Ibushi’s pro-wrestling background on the next Fight Opinion radio show.
Ibushi has an amateur kickboxing background. He trains at a gym (å¤§èª å¡¾ = Taisei-Juku in Chiba) that is operated by one of the referees/judges in K-1, Atsushi Ohnari.

As much as I like the great matches Japan has given us in kickboxing and mma, I also shake my head in amazement at some of the freak show and celebrity strangeness. Japan truly embraces the sports entertainment ideal. If they are going to do it, they might as well go off the rails completely and do a FSF (Freak Show Fighters) episode of Takeshi’s Castle. I’d pay money to see Akebono, Giant Silva, Ologun, Ogawa and crew running the gauntlets and getting splattered. Now, that would be money!
