The Anderson Silva and Frank Trigg fights look interesting, becuase I actually know who those guys are. Has Butterbean ever actually won a MMA fight? Either way him vs. Cabbage should be for some sort of food item, it seems to cliche to just say ham but you get the idea.

  2. Adam Summers says:

The real question is this…will Frank Trigg be sporting his “PRIDE hair” for this fight?

In all seriousness, this is a hell of a card…some top-flight fighters and a freak show match that would make even K-1 jealous.

It’s great to see how many good non-PRIDE/UFC cards there have been in recent months…hopefully this trend continues.

  3. Tomer says:

Renato ‘Charuto’ Verissimo and Jake Shields are two quality fighters that are in the tournament in addition to Frank Trigg and Anderson Silva. Dave Menne, in addition, is a solid veteran who can provide a solid challenge in the tournament. Ronald Jhun, as far as I’m concerned, is pretty much a sacrificial lamb to Trigg (unless Trigg gives up his back again…). I’m not too familiar with Carlos Condit & Yushin Okami, though I’ve seen footage of Okami before; don’t remember seeing Condit, however.

As for the other two fights… yeah.
