The Game Plan

By Zach Arnold | December 24, 2005

Print Friendly and PDF

As I prepare for the launch of this new site and get everyone ready to post on it, I wanted to fill in everyone on the activities for the first two weeks of the web site.

For reference, the PPH MMA show will be moved over to the Fight Opinion web site and renamed under the Fight Opinion Radio banner. The first Fight Opinion show will be recorded after the New Year’s Eve war between PRIDE & K-1. We will attempt to have fighters or participants from the two shows (at least one guest) on the first Fight Opinion radio show.

I am attempting to line up some media dates to help promote the new site. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to e-mail me with ideas.

I am not sure how many people who have accounts on the site will be posting for the initial week. I will try to carry the load and once the holidays are over, then try to get everyone into the swing of things. This site is going to be a fun experiment, but in the end I will do what is best for business and try to make it as convenient as possible for people both inside and outside of the industry to interact on the web site.

Regarding articles, paid content, etc. I am going to try to generate traffic for the posts here and for the radio show, then spin off the momentum into other areas of the web site. Our web site is hosted by A Small Orange, which gives us some flexibility and options in regards to CMS (content management system) applications that we can install. As always, it is important for us to hear your feedback on how you want to see the site evolve, so please submit comments to this post and I will consider all feedback/criticism. Thanks.
