Masato, Kohiruimaki win fights at World MAX show

K-1 ran their World MAX show in Tokyo at Yoyogi National Stadium Gym I, with Masato getting a big win over the tough Lithuanian, Remigijus Morkevicius. Results from today’s show. Update: The show drew a 15.1% rating on TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System), with Masato’s TKO win over Morkevicius reaching a high mark of 20.6%.

Hideo Tokoro vs. Yoshinori Ikeda (Kyokushin karate), Heath Herring vs. Gary “Big Daddy” Goodridge, and Jerome Le Banner vs. Jimmy Ambriz were added to the HERO’s 3/15 Nippon Budokan show in Tokyo.

Bonjasky cancelled from K-1 New Zealand show

K-1 announced that Remy Bonjasky has been cancelled from the 3/5 New Zealand show due to a left leg injury (sprained knee) he suffered in practice training on 2/26. Bonjasky’s replacement in the fight against Ray Sefo is now Frans Botha. 3/5 New Zealand card line-up.
