By Zach Arnold | February 18, 2008

I’m surprised that there isn’t a lot of angry boxing fans ranting and raving on various web sites about Floyd Mayweather Jr. doing an angle with Big Show at last night’s WWE PPV in Las Vegas.

anybody want to count the factual errors in that CONDE NAST article?
Why would boxing fans be upset about Floyd? Its just marketing. He is just the latest in a long line of boxers who have done pro wrestling. Evander Holyfield, Ali, Tyson, Lou Duva and others have all done wrestling in the past.
I share the identical sentiments as U4L – this is far from the first or last time boxers have been involved in pro wrestling angles.
I don’t see why there’s all the uproar – but I assume these same complaints have always arisen any time you see a boxer involved in pro wrestling.
