So……who’s Yoshida fighting?
Fedor is the rumor….
Enson Inoue is fighting? I thought he was retired for good.
Any info on who Yoshida is fighting? I’ve read that Fedor may be the foil for the gold medal judoka. I can see M-1 Global taking this for a number of reasons:
A) Fedor won’t have to risk his hands fighting someone of Yoshida’s caliber at this stage of his career
B) M-1 Global will likely get broadcasting rights in North America and Europe and perhaps other markets
C) Fedor’s salary will be covered by either the broadcasting rights or directly through Astra and sponsorship
Any more news from Japan on this front Zach?
Hopefully now everyone can shut up about “BLAH BLAH F FEDOR EVEN BEING RUMORED FOR THIS HE IS DUCKING EVERYONE” and move onto talking about how lousy an event this is. I mean, Masvidal/Kotani? What a massacre.
Good to see Enson Inoue is back in the fight game, and winning at that. Let’s hope he continues with his comeback. Speaking of, whatever happened to Egan Inoue coming back? He had a come back fight, won it, and then that was that. I know he was arrested for beating his wife, but I don’t think he was convicted of anything.
Chonan and Micah Miller continue down the long road to absolute irrelevance. Can Nakamura beat someone who isn’t a 1000 years old and broken down? Stay tuned for As Japanese MMA Turns!
LOL @ Japanese mma.
Egan simply decided not to pursue MMA again. He talked about it in an interview after his comeback — and getting into Masters level BJJ competition — but I think he’s focused on training other folks now.

I wonder how many millions J-ROCK had to pay M-1 to have Fedor show up.
Fedor got 300k to show while M-1 got paid a $2mil consulting fee, which seems fair.
