DREAM 3/22 Yokohama Arena
By Zach Arnold | January 28, 2010

The news regarding the show is that Bibiano Fernandes will face Joachim Hansen for the DREAM Featherweight title. Also booked on the card is Ryo Chonan.
There was also a press conference featuring comments from K-1/DREAM management. They were asked about what kind of punishment Shin’ya Aoki will face? The answer: He’s been punished enough. No further punishment is coming his way.
Regarding the DREAM schedule for 2010 – 3/22 Yokohama Arena, April date (South Korea), May, July, September, October, and then Dynamite. The focus will be on a DREAM Light Heavyweight GP tournament with either 8 or 16 fighters. Plus, hope for Aoki vs. Kawajiri along with focusing on booking Alistair Overeem in high-profile fights.

So both DREAM and Sengoku take two + months off…. And on top of that, we only get 7 DREAM cards this year. Japanese MMA ain’t exactly setting the world on fire.
Hansen moving down in weight is a great move. He belongs in the lower weight classes. I do question if he can get his body down so low, as the DREAM FW limit is below 140 I believe. I always thought Hansen would be best at 145.
Flipping the bird should not have a punishment.
Punching someone in the face 2-5 times, while the referee is trying to peel you off an unconscious opponent, should.
And yes, I’m looking at you Rampage and Sokoudjou.
45, there is a good reason K-1, DREAM and Sengoku don’t run any events in January and February most of the time. And they’re running the same number of DREAM events as last year.
Man.. honestly? The worst part of Fightopinion is 45 Huddle.
Awesome. Love DREAM although they usually disappoint me. Hope the LHGP is insanely good and the rumoured DREAM VS. Strikeforce battles come to fruition.
Yoshida Dojo in FEG?
So because I hoped DREAM would expand their line-up, I’m a bad poster?
Yikes, tough crowd.
K-1’s MMA efforts have been piss poor. I was hoping they would commit more time to DREAM, which is something they are obviously not doing in 2010.
They can’t just decide to do more shows, it’s a TV property, and that’s what’s contracted.
More shows mean low quality.
No all the world is like America, We dont like to see, UFN, UFC on Versus, UFC 345 and TUF. We only like to see one event por month, or from 2 differents companys.
Damm, i dont know how some people eat all the shit from zuffa.
Sensitive bunch.
I’ve been against Zuffa running more then 1 PPV a month. I’m against the upcoming WEC PPV ($45 for those who were wondering).
I would like to see a monthly show in DREAM. That would not hurt the talent level too much.
You don’t want to see UFN’s or UFC on Versus?
Seriously?
I can understand bitching about watered down PPV cards, but bitching about free cards is just ludicrous. Especially when one of those free cards you are bitching about looks incredible on paper (UFC on Versus).
” 45 Huddle Says:
Sensitive bunch.”
LOL this is coming from the guy who quit the comments section of a website only to come back within a week.
