New developments for Floyd Mayweather’s career and Setanta’s survival

So sayeth ESPN in their report. The Examiner and other media outlets like Sports Illustrated are pontificating that this was a way for Mayweather to get out of a dangerous fight and jump right ahead to a fight with Manny Pacquiao.
Now, onto the latest in the Setanta Sports situation… Reuters is reporting that Endemol, the production company of the show Big Brother, may be putting up some cash to buy a stake in Setanta.
On a side note, I need advice from all Firefox users on what add-on I should get for the browser so that I can download video/audio files from MMA web sites that aren’t YouTube videos. I have a perfectly valid excuse — I am trying to download files from press conferences, interviews, etc. so that I can transcribe comments accurately and do write-ups. If you can help me out with recommendations, I will get to work immediately.

I dont believe PBF is ducking Marquez. A fight v JMM is beneficial to PBF before a fight with the pacman as his had 19 months off.
But if he gets beaten the money-fight is off of the table for “Money”. Think Cro Cop-Gonzaga being a bright idea before Cro Cop-Couture.

I tried Flashgot and it didn’t work.
I’m wondering how people are capturing video of UFC/other promotions pressers, interviews, etc. and getting them on YouTube. Normally, you see this footage right away on YouTube, but haven’t seen anything after the Germany show.
If it’s on YouTube, easy enough for me to view and transcribe. If it’s embedded video, more of an issue.
I use Real Player 11 to download non-Youtube embeddable video clips.
theres a great add-on called Download Helper that i use all the time to capture video from a variety of websites. doesnt work 100% of the time but has a very high success rate for me

Follow the guide. Since you want to download video and not music substitute “.mp3” with the file extension for flash video which is “.flv”
Download Helper is for YouTube, Daily Motion, etc. It doesn’t work on standard sites with embedded video.
The last link is good for Flash – dig it. But what about the annoying Javascript pop-up windows for video?

Yeh i reccommend unplug too, its a simple plugin for firefox lets you download most file types but not all, definately worth a try and its easy to use. Regarding Setanta im glad they are staying afloat, the market needs options and their UFC coverage is pretty good for the monthly fee.
