Article of the Day: Is Josh Koscheck now an ‘also-ran’ in MMA?
By Zach Arnold | February 25, 2009

I’m not sure that I agree with the argument being made here, but Total MMA author Jonathan Snowden makes the argument for this labeling in a new article at Five Ounces.
Kelvin Hunt pulls a Lee Corso and says, not-so-fast my friend.
If you disagree with Jonathan’s article and want to write a rebuttal to it (in article-form), hit me up by using the contact form.

That sure was a weird and silly article.
Whats snowden trying to do, become a crowd pleasing sensationalist?
Methinks he should take his own pseudo advice and stick with the bread and butter by rounding up the facts and rounding down the trolling.
I’m struck by most of the rebuttals in the comments being points that Jon made. The argument that “they’re small gloves, things happen” is certainly true. Its also pretty true that Thiago would have had a hell of a time landing that punch while laying on his back. If the plan is to give people openings that wide, then Koscheck can safely expect that he’ll never rise to title challenger status.
