Brandon Vera’s job security in UFC
By Zach Arnold | November 22, 2008

Vera said Frank Trigg should be vice president, and the man who should be president is UFC President Dana White: “I think we would be clear of debt, we would probably own Canada and Mexico and South America, and everybody else would be paying us royalties for us not to invade their country,” Vera said.
Well, things didn’t work out so well for UFC President Dana White in Japan…

Well, the Wrestling Observer did recently report that Vera’s UFC status is questionable {ie, he could be released).
LOL@the thought of Dana White as anything other than what he is.
Dana White as president? I don’t think the State of the Union address should contain that many F-bombs.
Man, could you really kiss much more ass than Vera did here? Jesus…
I think they are gonna give Vera another fight. No way they release that guy when they are thinking about expanding to the Phillipines.
I don’t think i’ve ever seen anybody juggle some balls that skillfully with just their mouth before.
Promoting Brandon Vera in the Philippines is almost as bad as promoting Marcus Davis in Ireland. Vera’s father may be Filipino but Brandon is an American just like Marcus Davis is an American. Having half Filipino blood isn’t enough to be a draw in the Phillipines just like Davis’ Irish ancestry doesn’t make him a draw in Ireland.
Davis doesn’t even have Irish ancestors!
dave2, I suppose you haven’t seen how Vera is embraced over there and add to the fact that he speaks the language.
Kind of like Dennis Kang isn’t popular in Korea and Obama isn’t popular in Kenya. Dave2 is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Yeah, what a huge step it is to speak Tagalog from English!
For the recored that nick name was given to Marcus Davis. He wasn’t the one who came up with it.
