DREAM 9/23 Saitama Super Arena card line-up
By Zach Arnold | September 3, 2008

Mirko Cro Cop vs. Alistair Overeem
Sergey Kharitonov vs. Mighty Mo
Yoon Dong-Sik vs. Andrews Nakahara
Ronaldo Jacare Souza vs. Zelg Galesic
Melvin Manhoef vs. Gegard Mousasi
Hideo Tokoro vs. Atsushi Yamamoto
I made the mistake in the past of saying this show would take place at Yokohama Arena. I’m starting to think the promoters wish it was happening there, too, instead of SSA. 🙂

For the uneducated among us, whats the difference between Yokohama and SSA?
Yokohama Arena is around 16,000 seats. If you draw a house of 10,000 or more there, it’s decent business.
SSA can be configured to any size, but it’s a giant building and costs more to rent.
Good card. I predict Mighty Mo by KO and Overeem by guilotine.
I heard it costs less than other arenas because it’s owned by Saitama pref. and they rent it out for cheap.A friend of mine from KAMIPRO told me that
I saw Pride 34 at SSA and it is damn big.
I dont see why this Dream card cant do well. Well, it isnt Pride I guess.
Dream is essentially Bushido, not one of the bigger Pride shows.
Zach…what’s the biggest crowd that one of the Bushido shows did? Even the couple with Cro Cop on them, and the one with Fedor headlining didn’t do huge if I recall correctly.
Not a terrible card, but not a terribly interesting card either.
I have to give props to Keith for making predictions that rhyme.

Kharitonov to knock his block off and Cro Cop to come out on top.
