Floyd Mayweather heading to WrestleMania
By Zach Arnold | February 18, 2008

That was the obvious conclusion after watching tonight’s angle on RAW with The Big Show. If the rumor is true that Mayweather broke Big Show’s nose yesterday in Las Vegas, then I have to give credit to Show for putting up with that physical abuse.
I chuckled at the fact that WWE crowds in both Las Vegas and Anaheim booed Mayweather unmercilessly when he’s supposed to be a babyface. Watching Mayweather standing next to Big Show was great comedy. It was even better when the crowd started cheering Big Show for ripping into Mayweather.
Here is a write-up in The Canadian Press. Additional reports at Boxing Scene, Las Vegas Sun, and The Grand Rapids Press.

Wrestling Observer confirmed he did break his nose as the punches landed more than they had hoped (though it sure did sell the angle).
Seems like it could be a solid addition to the card just to draw some mainstream interest for another year.
Go Big Show
Wrestling>Boxing
Interesting note: both the Big Show and the commentators were careful to label Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the best pound-for-pound FIGHTER in the world, not the best BOXER.
Is this to give people the impression that he’s a notch above ‘ultimate fighters’?
That Vince…always thinking.
Meanwhile…Dana White is busy adding Batista to his roster following Lesnar.
Just kidding BTW.
But hulkamania is still running wild and now in MMA:
