*Shakes his head in frustration*
Didn’t we see this coming?
Interim titles for the loss.
Wow, just wow, if you’re friends with Dana just break out the needles.
I’m all about the constant steroid and yakuza discussion…but K-1 is having their biggest show of the year in less than 24 hours. Why isn’t there additional reporting and discussion about that?
And isn’t there a UFC show this weekend, as well as Mayweather vs. Hatton?
I have been playing catch-up on news due to having to deal with some matters outside of this site, so please accept my apology if the coverage isn’t up to standards.
I do feel comfortable, however, that because this site links to various MMA sites that if you can’t find the appropriate coverage by me on this site, you can click on a link from either the left or right side of the page and find the story you want to read about.
[…] to Zach Arnold over at Fight Opinion for the find. […]
What a crock.
Test positive for steroids, come up with a BS excuse to the spineless CSAC and keep your title.
How many other fighters would get this ridiculous preferential treatment?
So the story says there’s no need now for the interim belt, but doesn’t confirm that the fight will now not be for an interim title. Anyone got contfirmation? I’m officially über p*ssed off if Stevenson – Penn is reduced to three rounds ON TOP of Sherk keeping the strap. That’s a double load of crap in the face right there.
Perfect time to roll out 5 round #1 contender fights.
Cindy Ortiz has posted, on the MMAWeekly Forum, that Sherk has been stripped of the title.
Cindy has always been reliable in the past.
Until I read an official statement, I am going to withold any sort of judgement.
