Heck of a quote from the Newsweek article: “With input from the Nevada and New Jersey state athletic commissions, [Dana] White adopted new rules and has so far persuaded 22 states to sanction mixed martial arts.”
Don’t talk bad about the MMA Godfather, Ivan. After all, he’s showing up at the PRIDE 10/21 Las Vegas show… must be to give it his blessing, or something.
Or, Dana White is going to play a “Mr. McMahon” role at the Pride FC show and claim that Josh Barnett can not fight on the Las Vegas show because he has papers that say Barnett hasn’t been cleared by the Nevada state athletic commission to fight. And that is how the interpromotional feud starts.
