Burning Spirit notes that there are some empty seats at the show.
- Jason Black defeated Eoh Won Jin in R1 in 4 minutes, 25 seconds by TKO (referee stoppage from pounding).
- Welterweight Tournament: Amar Suloev defeated Murilo Bustamante by a 3-0 judges’ decision. Suloev was an underdog with the oddsmakers on gambling sites, so there may be a few smart people who made good money!
- Welterweight Tournament: Paulo Filho defeated Gregory Bouchelaghem by a 3-0 judges’ decision.
- Welterweight Tournament: Ryo Chonan defeated Joey Villasenor by a 2-1 judges’ decision.
- Welterweight Tournament: Gegard Mousasi defeated Makoto Takimoto in R1 in 5 minutes, 34 seconds by TKO (doctor stoppage due to a swollen right eye).
- Mitsuhiro Ishida defeated Marcus “Maximus” Aurelio by a 3-0 judges’ decision. Where does this leave Aurelio now that he beat Gomi and lost to Ishida?
- Tatsuya Kawajiri defeated Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett in R1 in 2 minutes, 30 seconds with an ankle hold for the referee stoppage.
- Hayato “Mach” Sakurai defeated Olaf Alfonso in R1 in 1 minute, 54 seconds by KO.
- Welterweight Tournament: Akihiro Gono defeated Hector Lombard by a 3-0 judges’ decision.
- Welterweight Tournament: Denis Kang defeated Murilo Ninja in R1 in 15 seconds by KO.
- Welterweight Tournament: Kazuo Misaki defeated Phil Baroni by a 3-0 judges’ decision.

Misaki was a bigger underdog going as high as +300 on a few sites.
I got him an hour before the event at +260.
Good money.
This was a disappointing show all the way through. The judges are clearly japanese. The Lombard/Gono fight was so one sided that even Stevie Wonder could see that Lombard won the fight. If DSE wants to grow their version of the sport, they will have to judge with more reason or aquire a new set of judges. The issues DSE is having with FUJI-TV are one subject, but the product is being tarnish by very biased judges. Fortunatley the fighters have class and do not publically question the decisions or it may be that they are muzzeled in order to fight again, but unless an international fighter submits or ko’s a “Japanese” fighter, they are at a grave disadvantage to win.
Lets hope that Pride tries to grow the sport in a more positive manner and corrects this large issue.
