New Writers: Take Two

I’ve received a really good response so far from everyone who wants to become a writer for the site. I will be adding some new posting accounts shortly. Likely, we will have Rob Sayers, Wes Black, and Tomer Chen as new posters. Plus a new class of writers to come.
Rob will be a feature guest on this week’s upcoming edition of Fight Opinion Radio #2. We’ll be doing a 1-hour preview of the upcoming Ultimate Fight Night show (produced by UFC) on Monday, 1/16. It should be a really, really fun show. We’re working on getting Rob in our studio, so it should be a fun show.
A special thanks to Huy Nguyen who posted on the site recently. Huy – you have your own site, so feel free to post comments here as much as you want. I’m looking forward to reading about your training camp session with Randy Couture. Whenever you post an update on your site, I’ll link to it over here.
I will try to catch up on e-mails tomorrow and on Thursday. It’s been a surprisingly busy week for me so far. Thank you for all of your support. Any site feedback suggestions, writer requests, guest requests for the radio, etc. can be added to this post in the comments section.
An update regarding the tags situation. Post Teaser, it appears, did in fact do a number to the tags table that Ultimate Tag Warrior created. However, I’ve set up an account now on Technorati and it appears that we will no longer need to have a tag system. Any word in any post on Fight Opinion will now be searchable through Technorati. If you notice on the upper left part of the right sidebar, there are now two search options. The top bar is for searching for a post directory on this site. The Technorati search function works the same, but also gives you the option of looking for a certain keyword on other sites as well that are indexed by Technorati. This is what I call “souping up” a web site.
