Layout of postings

The system we are currently using allows us to either display the full text of each post or I can program a snippet of code which only shows an excerpt (quick summary) of text from each post. Which format would you like to see me implement here? Post thoughts in the comments section. I would like to get a decision on this in the next day or two.
Side note: There is an interesting feature on Technorati in which you can see which blogs are linking to you. I thank the two blogs that recently linked to me, although for some reason I can’t find the posts in which this site is linked to on those sites. Nonetheless, I appreciate all of you for supporting this new project!
Side note II: WordPress 2.0 is now available. I have not installed it (yet) or have made the move to upgrade this current system to it. For those who are WP 2.0 users, let me know if there is a radical difference between 1.5.2 and 2.0 and whether or not it would be worth my time and trouble to make the upgrade. I’m using about 15-20 different plug-ins now on 1.5.2 and the system so far has been operating smoothly.
Side note III: Compare the layout that you see now on the main page (with all the text from all the articles showing) versus a layout like this. Notice that it’s an excerpt layout. Which do you prefer?

I think a snippet would be better
I like being able to read the entire post. But, if you can access that through the summary then thats fine.
Zach, I think that the excerpts might be the way to go. It will allow for more articles to be easily accessible w/o getting “lost in the shuffle,” so to speak.
Hey Zach, can you mix the two layouts up, ie. have the lead story in full and then all following stories in excerpted form? I like how clear and concise the navigation is right now. The site doesn’t seem as sprawling and intimidating to a new user as PuruPower can be at times.
Snippets, by far. Its way too congested right now. I’d rather be able to browse the headlines and pick and choose which articles to read, or whatever order I want than just scrolling down and reading as I go… Nevermind how you have to go back pages as you can only hold so many articles a page. For professionalism sake, I say snippets.
